12 maps are available featuring the planets of Hoth, Endor, Tatooine, and a new planet: Sullust. With Star Wars Battlefront, you take control of the blasters of iconic X-Wings, TIE Fighters and AT-ATs. There are several characters to choose from, including Darth Vader and Boba Fett. Be a hero or villain, whichever you prefer.
Witness rebel forces as they clash with Imperial speedsters through the abundant forests of Endor. Experience intense combat between X-wings squadrons and TIE fighters filling the skies. Quiver as the threatening thud of an AT-AT stomping down on the frozen tundra of Hoth. Instantly, become part of this legendary saga.
Should you wish to change from multiplayer mode, try “Missions” for solo fun. This battle mode can also be shared online or played split-screen.
To explore Battlefront’s universe, players can access a wide variety of vehicles. Fly around the planets or move by ground with speedsters and AT-STs. Game’s weapons, characters, gear and skills are all customizable. As new weapons are unlocked, players can also share them with their teammates.
You can join the Rebel Alliance as a soldier or the Dark Side as a Stormtrooper. Additionally, choose to play as:

Several other characters are available through DLC (downloadable content).

Standard Edition
The mesmerizing multiplayer mode will let you become part of the Rebellion or join the destructive forces of the Empire in online clashes that can include up to 40 players. Star Wars Battlefront combines the legendry heroes, villains, planets, weapons and vehicles with the authentic and immersive interaction of online gaming in stunning visual recreations of the most iconic scenarios and battles of the Galaxy far far away.
Deluxe Edition
The Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition includes Season Pass, with new content including four expansion packs. Enjoy two-week early access to each expansion as well as five exciting in-game items:
- The Ion Grenade works well to destroy enemy vehicles.
- The Ion Torpedo can lock on to vehicles for ultimate damage.

Star Wars Battlefront II
The BETA version was released on October 6th, 2017. Players can relive all three cinematic eras of Star Wars in the brand-new Star Wars: Battlefront II.
The game, set for release on November 2017, can be played in four different multiplayer modes: Strike, Blast, Starfighter Assault and Heroes vs Villains. Also, the single-plater Arcade mode allows players to take on AI enemies to hone their skills across a variety of scenarios.

Why isn’t this game called Star Wars Battlefront 3?
EA chose to create a re-boot of the series to introduce a new vision for Star Wars Battlefront. They entrusted their Swedish videogame subsidiary, DICE, with the task to take Battlefront to the next level of gaming.
Does Star Wars Battlefront offer a Single player experience or offline modes?
Battlefront is, mainly, a multiplayer game.
But it also includes what DICE calls “Missions” related to the original trilogy. These can be solo, through an offline split-screen, or online with another person co-op on console.
Does Star Wars Battlefront have Episode VII or DLC content?
Players can go through the events that created the battle-scarred landscape of Jakku presented in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The Battle of Jakku is free for everyone who has a copy of Star Wars Battlefront.
